Patient Relationships are His Greatest Reward

"My greatest reward as a dentist is my relationship with patients." This is how Dr. Timothy McConville feels about his practice at our Old Sauk Clinic. He enjoys changing the way patients feel about a trip to the dentist-which is generally not good. "People don't look forward to visiting the dentist. But if a patient can tell me that it was more pleasant than they thought it would be, then I've accomplished something good." Dr. McConville wants patients to feel heard and have their needs met. He particularly enjoys working in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, children's and geriatric dentistry, endodontics, exodontia, and fixed and removable prosthodontics.

Dr. McConville was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, where he attended the University of Iowa, earning his B.S. in 1978. He later received his D.D.S. from Iowa College of Dentistry in 1982. Dr. McConville, his wife and two sons enjoy fishing, snow and water skiing, biking, sports of all sorts and traveling together. He is an active sponsor of the Wounded Warriors Project, the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society.
